As a recent graduate of Wellesley College with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Astronomy, Bena Chang is thrilled to join the SVLG team as a Housing and Transportation Associate. At SVLG, Bena has worked on the HomeWork first-time homebuyer program and organizing the first state-wide Housing Trust Summit in February of 2005.

Bena has always been interested in non-profit work, and her previous experience includes tutoring recent immigrants in passing the United States citizenship test in Boston's Chinatown, participating in a reading skills program for at-risk kindergarteners, and being a DJ for a college radio station. Her previous political experience includes interning at the district office of State Senator Richard K. Rainey.
