Kirk Everett is the Leadership Group's Director of Government Relations and Tax Policy. Kirk has been with SVLG since 1998.

He has worked in government and government relations at all levels for 15 years. Prior to joining The Leadership Group (SVLG), Kirk served on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as a legislative aide to Congressman Dave Camp of Michigan, a ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee. He also helped launch a new government affairs office for Dyer, Ellis and Joseph law firm (now Blank Rome) in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Kirk HAS worked counsel to the Vice-President at the White House.

Kirk received his BA dual degree in Political Science and History from Alma College, a liberal arts college in central Michigan. In 2005, Kirk was named as one of the '40 under 40' most influential people by the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal. Kirk and his wife, Rebecca and their two young daughters, Sophie and Abigail, live in a nearly 100-year old craftsman home in downtown San Jose. They enjoy gardening, basketball, movies, travel, and being involved in their community.
