Alex brings an excellent blend of consulting experience and business leadership to fully expand M Squared into the future. His focus is on building the strong relationships M Squared has with its clients, consultants and employees. Prior to his appointment, Alex was a Partner at Bain and Company in London, England, where he spent over 10 years specializing in strategy and operations issues. Alex previously also held the position of CEO at Cummins Diesel Engine Company in South Africa where he was responsible for growing and expanding the company. Most recently he served as CEO of Option One Home Medical Equipment headquartered in Orange County, California. Elected a member of the Board of Directors of M Squared, Inc., he lives in San Francisco with his family and is an alumnus of the University of London where he received an honors degree in Civil Engineering and Masters in Management Science.

David L. Dutton has served as Mattson's Chief Executive Officer since June 2005 and as a director since December 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Dutton served as Mattson's Chief Executive Officer and President since October 2001. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Dutton served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Mattson. Mr. Dutton previously served as President of the Plasma Products Division. Mr. Dutton joined Mattson in 1994 as General Manager of the Strip/Plasma Etch division. Mr. Dutton started his career in the semiconductor industry in 1984 and held engineering management positions for wafer processing and development at Intel Corporation and Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. Mr. Dutton serves on the Board of Directors for the Bay Area Council.
