The Data Center Energy Summit 2008 is the industry’s only conference to feature a full day of real world case studies covering sustainable data center design, energy efficient engineering, and operational best practices of green computing.
- Experience 11 case study presentations by data center operators on specific energy efficiency initiatives using innovative green IT technologies and critical facilities infrastructure. Each case study will document the “before and after” measurements of energy conservation and GHG emissions reduction achieved from the implementation.
- Learn from the experiences of some of the leading data center operators include: Digital Realty Trust, LBNL, NetApp, Oracle, Sun, Symantec, Synopsys, US Postal Service, Yahoo!
- Participate in an interactive panel discussion with Terry Takai, State of CA CIO and CIOs from several leading Leadership Group companies participating in the project
- Understand the impact based on a consolidated report by Accenture evaluating the EPA's data center energy growth scenarios using the real results of energy savings as measured from the case studies.
- Join an evening tour and network with some of the industry’s most innovative data center operators at a reception held in one of the Silicon Valley’s premier data centers.
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group welcomes the chance to share these actual results from their data centers with others in the high tech industry—locally, nationally, and globally.
