Government Relations Committee

Voices of Reform Project
The Silicon Valley Leadership Group Supports the Governor’s Redistricting Reform proposal and is proud to be the newest member of the “Voices For Reform” Coalition.

The Government Relations Committee provides member companies with opportunities to meet and establish positive relationships with local, state, and federal public policy leaders. In addition, the Committee educates member company representatives about public policy issues, processes, and systems.

Specifically, the Government Relations Committee seeks to:

  • Increase Leadership Group member involvement in Sacramento, Washington D.C., and local outreach efforts in coordination with Leadership Group policy committees to deliver policy goals in a unified voice by engaging federal, statewide, and local elected officials, appointed officials, and key staff members.
  • Provide education forums to assist in the awareness of voter, policy, and advocacy efforts, trends, and best practices.
  • Improve knowledge of Leadership Group mission, goals, and policy priorities with Sacramento elected and appointed officials, Washington D.C. public officials, and Silicon Valley counties and city officials.
