Silicon Valley Leadership Group Regrets Senate Action on ABX1 1

The Silicon Valley Leadership Group said today that it deeply regrets the failure of the proposed Health Care Security and Cost Reduction Act to pass the California Senate today.

“The Silicon Valley Leadership Group strongly supports ABX1 1, and we especially want to acknowledge Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Speaker Fabian Nuñez for their hard work and collaboration in bringing it to the Legislature,” said Carl Guardino, CEO of the Leadership Group, a public policy organization representing 250 Silicon Valley employers. “For more than a year, the Governor has championed comprehensive health care reform for all Californians, not just the fortunate few,” he continued. “The Leadership Group is disappointed that the Senate has not moved forward.”
